Rock Falls IL Man Eric L Smith Was Arrested On Dec 10 2009 Approx. 3 Pm In Connection With Possible Child Abduction in Rock Falls IL.
Eric is by far a saint for the most part he does have a history thats lets say not so good.However Eric was never a violent man as a matter of fact growing up with Eric and my other brother Bob I could always rely on the both of them and when I was ever in trouble my two brothers were always there how ironic it is that my brother Eric L Smith is being accused of the crime in which he saved me from when I was only 12 years old living in Logan Vista apartments in the Logan Square area of Chicago IL.My friend Kimberly A Hurley and I were being chased by hispanic men in the building we ran to the elevator and barely made it the two men then proceeded to try to rape us and if it weren`t for Eric my brother my friend Kimberly A Hurley and I would of been raped by the two men we were only 12 years old at this time and Eric was 20 years old married to Teresa Adams his wife of 6 years whom he had two children by Krystle Smith born june 2 1985 and Martin Smith born nov 10 1986.Eric was a good father great husband to my sister inlaw and my hero.
We did have a rather rough upbringing though and been through more hard times than good.Such as, my biological father David Ramirez who ad the three of us involved in cild pornography when we were very young I was only 2-3 years old and my brothers Eric & Bob were like 12 and 13 years old at that time so the state took us away from our mother unsure if she was aware of whay my biological father was doing the DCFS then gave our grandparents James E Graham and Lois L Graham legal custody of my two brothers the legal adoption went through completely before grandma died in 1980.My two brothers once adopted by our grandparents went through a living hell to say the least grandpa would not only break their arms but he would give Bob a bloddy nose atleast once a week for not holding still wile he combed his hair banged Bob`s nose into the bath tub when he washed his hair.And this was not the complete worse our uncle Gary lived in the same home as our grandfather and he would get my brother Eric high and drunk then rape him repediately every since Eric was only 8 years old , and if this was not bad enough our aunt Sandy would engage in sexual encounters with Eric every since he was 10 years old along with Eric`s friends.
Eric and Bob both grew tired of our grandfather`s and uncle`s abuse so decided to run away several times and would barely go to school and it was for this lack of education that at a very young age of only 11 and 12 years old that my two brothers Eric and Bob turned to crime.They would steel things so they could pay for a hotel room and have food to eat.They would steel things so grandpa uncle Gary and aunt Sandy would not continue to abuse them.I never went through the abuse like my two brothers did because I was blessed to be a female and grandpa no matter what I done would not hit a female Thank God.
Now as for the situation with Mary L Haahr and Joy C Haahr my brother Eric L Smith saw himself inside a family one whom he could love and be loved back by.Eric adored this little girl as if she were his own child.Eric loved Mary and wanted to marry her infact gave her an engagement ring which Mary L Haahr still wears on the left finger.No matter where Eric was or what he was doing around 2 pm e rushed to pick Joy up from middle school here in Rock Falls IL so he could buy Joy a sundea and take both Mary and Joy out to eat at one of the near by resturants since Mary did not know how to cook at home.Eric was saving his money for Joy new school clothes and her school pictures.He was also saving up to buy a home with Mary Haahr they were trying to decide on which home they were going to purchase here in the area Eric was a very good hustler when it came to finding scrap metal we would always see him going to Cimco Recycling to earn cash for his family Mary & Joy Haahr (his family) he would say.
Whenever Eric would answer his cell phone and it was Mary Haahr he would refer to Mary as sweetheart and constantly tell Mary he loved her and was always kissing Mary in our presence.The only thing Eric ever said bad about Mary L Haahr is that she would not feed him or Joy and the dogs very well.Now Eric was not a rich man but he would always see to it that Joy got the very best including brand new clothes IPODS MP3 players Music Downloads CDs Cell Phone and minutes always bfore Eric would even eat.Eric also has a son named Christopher Ree Hamilton by another marriage to Christina Green he also treated Christina like a queen while married to her however Christina was already in love with another man and that marriage did not last very long Eric would also buy things for his son Christopher such as Gameboy DS Games and Clothing School Supplies ect.Eric was always a protector as well as provider when it came to children.My daughter Cindy 6 years old was smacked by an adult male (Paul Sandrie) of Sterling IL Eric confronted the man over the phone stating they needed to have a talk.
In my eyes Eric was never a child abuser and it just makes me angry to hear of all these alligations against Eric stating he lured this girl Joy in by sweet talk no in his mind I truly beleive he falt he was saving her.Since after a while of Eric living with Mary L Haahr and Joy C Haahr here in Rock Falls IL Eric whitnessed Mary striking her daughter for no appearent reason and pulling Joy`s hair just to hear her cry and allowing adult men to smack Joy`s behind for thrills .Mary made Joy clean bedrooms of men whom Mary or Joy did not even know from Adam to repair Mary`s computer or repair Mary`s Van which Eric had bought for Mary by barrowing money from me no less.Joy is a very sweet girl and I have told Eric just tonight on the phone from Ames Iowa police station why did he not just bring Joy Haahr to the police station or DCFS to let Joy tell the police or DCFS what her mother was doing to her and they would of found Joy an appropriate home setting other than with her mother Mary Haahr who beats her up I also told Eric what is he stuck on stupid You just can`t take a minor child out of state without consent from their parents although in this case Joy`s mother is very unfit to even care for an animal and yes I am very aware she is definately mentally challenged and poor Joy has to suffer for all of Mary L Haahr`s mistakes in life .
I also personally think Joy needs a chance in life and a chance without abuse since she has went through so much abuse already.The authorites need to investigate Mary L Haahr and all of the bad company she keeps such as Mary`s coffee dates with well known registered sex offenders and sexual preditors and yes Mary L Haahr is at fault here and should be under arrest right now.At the reunion of what should of been very speacial peaceful and a celibration Mary L Haahr beat Joy C Haahr for going with Eric L Smith instead of wanting to stay with her Now Joy C Haahr is only a child and went through enough here Mary should not of beaten Joy today instead should of been grateful Joy was back home safely.Someone should do something about Mary L Haahr she should not get away with all this child abuse and yes child endangerment
Joy C Haahr a very sweet little girl who we here in Rock Falls IL are grateful to have back home.Please this note goes out to DCFS Please don`t continue to allow this child to be abused.Joy C Haahr has great dreams of one day becoming a Rock Star singer and would love to move to Hollywood when she grows up.Please don`t let her become another sttistic to the system!
